Counselling

Counselling provides focused, short to medium term support for individuals experiencing specific life challenges or emotional difficulties. It is designed to help you better understand your current concerns, develop practical coping strategies, and improve your emotional wellbeing in a supportive and collaborative environment. Counselling may be beneficial for managing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, work related concerns, life transitions, and other day to day challenges. The focus is on your present circumstances and identifying effective ways to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a deeper, longer term therapeutic process that explores the underlying patterns influencing your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. Together we examine how early life experiences, attachment, trauma, and unconscious patterns may continue to affect your wellbeing today. Psychotherapy offers the opportunity for lasting psychological change by increasing self awareness, processing unresolved experiences, and fostering healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. It is particularly valuable for individuals experiencing long standing emotional difficulties, complex trauma, recurring relationship patterns, personality related concerns, or those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and meaningful personal growth.

Christian Counselling

For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian counselling. This approach thoughtfully integrates psychological therapies with Christian beliefs and values, where appropriate and at the client’s request. Faith can be an important source of meaning, hope, and resilience for many people. If spirituality is something you would like to explore as part of your therapeutic journey, I will work alongside you in a way that honours both your faith and your individual experiences. Clients of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds are warmly welcomed, and there is never any expectation that faith will form part of our work unless you choose it.
